Lockdown for COVID-19 has changed life for us all. One of the most striking trends has been an increase in the popularity of home cooking and baking. At one point UK supermarkets even had a shortage of eggs and butter. Of course as followers of the keto or low carb lifestyle we are no strangers to cooking and baking. This is especially the case in the UK where keto products are just beginning to emerge on the market.
Sometimes it can be a struggle to find a recipe to work from- after all there is so much choice now, with incredible keto and low carb blogs with recipes and dupes for almost every dish you can think of. We’ve got you covered with some perfect keto treats to get you through COVID-19 lockdown.
We have some really easy keto recipes and we would love to share them with you! Most are completely pantry friendly while others are mostly with only a couple of fresh ingredients needed. What's more, we've shared a list of the ingredients you will need for each recipe- so you can quickly find something you have the ingredients for. After all, in lockdown we are all trying to minimise trips to the shops. So here is our round up of our top 10 pantry keto recipes!
1. Low carb banana bread
Everyone’s loving making banana bread at the moment so why not make it keto? We love this version of keto banana bread by Sugar Free Londoner. We love her recipes, and Dan really enjoyed recording a podcast episode with her recently. You might be surprised to see bananas in a "keto" recipe, but Katrin managed to get this keto banana bread to come in at a very reasonable 4.4g of carbs per slice.
