Taste the difference

After receiving the chocolate I had a few squares to see the difference between Cadburys and yours. It took awhile to get used to the less sugar in yours. Tasted much better than Cadbury.

I smiled when I read this, David... because you've described exactly what I hoped would happen.

When people first try our chocolate after years of eating very sweet chocolate, it can take a little while for their taste buds to adjust. Then, all of a sudden, they start tasting the cocoa rather than just the sugar.

I'm sorry to hear our chocolate wasn't for you.

Can I ask one question? Did you happen to eat it straight from the fridge?

The reason I ask is that our chocolate is made with proper cocoa butter rather than palm oil, so it really comes into its own at room temperature. That's when the cocoa butter melts properly on your tongue and releases all the flavour. If it's eaten cold, it can taste much more muted than it should.

Of course, it may simply be that our chocolate isn't to your taste, and that's absolutely fine. We all enjoy different things.
